I'm a North Carolinian and also went to UNCW for college, so have been to the USS NC many MANY a time.<br /><br />Although not a battleship, I highly recommend a trip to USS Yorktown (air craft carrier) in Charleston, SC. It's part of a Naval Museum (Patriot's Point) with the Yorktown, a Destroyer, and a submarine all available for touring.
